Summary of Week 7 Assignment
Learning Gap, audience
The audience for this assignment is graduate level students enrolled in the class: Introduction to the Nonprofit Sector. The learning gap for this lesson is explaining key ethical issues specifically within the nonprofit sector. Student will have listened to the podcast from Week 6 exploring ethics in general and now this is a deeper dive into ethics violations within the nonprofit sector. So technically this would be Lesson #2 within the unit.
At the end of this lesson students will:
Understand the ethically standards of the nonprofit sector
Explain how ethical violation undermine specific organizations and the sector as a whole
Apply ethical standards to specific situations
How the Learner will Interact with the Content
The learner will read the text in each chapter, watch one brief TedTalk video, review the flip cards and then complete a short quiz.
Authoring Tool
I chose to use the authoring tool Articulate Rise because I liked the format, it was easy to use and it allowed me to present the material and assess the student in a format that worked for my content.
